Halıkoy Antimony Plant

Halikoy Antimony Plant is in southeast İzmir. Its underground mine is in the Emirli village of Odemis district whereas its ore enrichment plant (flotation plant) is in Beydag – Halikoy. Emirli Antimony Mine was first found in 1870 and it was used till 1929.

Then it went into a stalemate up until 1974 when it resumed its production activities. In 1977, the plant was transferred to Etibank and in 2007 it was transferred to Eti Bakir Co. which is a part of Cengiz Holding. The plant produces 0.26 tons 69%Sb grade antimony concentrate per day.
