The first metaling mining plant with vertical tower system

Siirt Plant, located in Madenköy, produces 90,000 tons of concentrated copper per year. The fully automated plant with a closed mine pit is the first metallic mining plant to have a vertical tower shaft system. With a depth of 669 meters, the mine's tower shaft length is 74.5 meters. The plan having underground gallery length of 42 kilometers extracts 1.1 million tons of ore annually.

Siirt Plant, located 46 km from the city center, provides safe and efficient production with a fully automated system while respecting all living thing. The facility, which has planted 900,000 trees to date, provides feed for wildlife affected by adverse weather conditions, especially in winter, within the scope of a project carried out in partnership with relevant public institutions and organizations.
